We have only been breeding since 2018, but we have a great mentor and have done lots of research, and training, in order to ensure that your puppies are given the best care possible. We are responsible breeders and make sure that our puppies are bred from parents who have been genetically tested and proven to come from healthy lines, as well as having good temperments.
When we take care of your puppies…
We make a promise to take the best care of your puppies. They will be housed in our Doodle Den, which is a 20×30 climate controlled mother-in-law suite type of building, behind our house. From the time they are born, until they are 3-4 weeks old, they will be in a whelping box area and taken care of by us and their momma, of course. After that, they will be in our nursery zone, which gives them a space to lay and play, as well as work on potty training. Once they reach about 6 weeks old, we will give them access to the doggy door that leads outside, into a fenced potty area, as well as begin socializing them with the big dogs. The puppies and their momma are under constant supervision, as we have a home security monitor which we can see and hear them, and even talk to them, directly from our phones.
The puppies will have their initial vet check, as well as their dew claws removed (unless otherwise decided upon), within the first 3 days of their life.
As part of our responsible breeding program, we use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and noise stimulation, in order to envoke benefits such as improved cardiovascular performance, stronger heart beats and adrenal glands, greater resistance to disease, and more tolerance to stress.
We will weigh them daily, for the first week, then 3-4 times/week, for the next 2 weeks, and weekly for the remainder of their time with us, in order to ensure that they are gaining the weight needed.
Puppy parents will have access to, their weight chart, weekly photos, and a group chat where we share important info and more cute pics and videos!
The puppies will begin potty training, as well as crate training, with us. They will be CKC registered, microchipped, de-wormed and will have had their 1st set of shots taken care of, before they go home. They will also be sent home with a blanket and toy that smells like their momma and littermates, as well as a few chew toys, sample treats, a discount code for a lifetime membership with Baxter and Bella Online Puppy School, and a free month of Trupanion Pet Insurance.
